About Us

Kelsey is built around actions and next steps, not a fake AI visibility score.

I started building Kelsey in 2025 and launched it in early 2026 after watching companies losing traffic and losing buyers before they even reached Google or a landing page.

Product discovery is changing. Buyers are asking ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and other AI search tools what to buy. And companies need to adjust and build a strategy around this before competitors do.

Why Kelsey

Kelsey isn't like other AI search tools. We don't focus on a fake "AI visibility score." Kelsey is built around action so you can understand what to actually do to improve mentions in AI search.

The goal is simple: help companies turn AI search from a black box into a growth channel they can actually work on.

Most tools stop at tracking. They show you whether you were mentioned with your "AI visibility score" or a giant dashboard of charts.

Kelsey is designed to look at prompts, competitors, citations, and content patterns behind every AI search mention. And then it helps you find the next best action whether that is creating a comparison page, improving an existing page, answering pricing questions, building a use-case page, or finding the sources that are shaping AI recommendations.

AI search is not just a reporting problem. It is a content, positioning, and trust problem.

Kelsey is built for the teams that want to understand why competitors are being recommended and what they can actually ship to change that.

Kelsey is built by Randall Kanna, an engineer, author, and founder who has over a decade building software products at startups and large companies.

AI Search is the new front page

Your next customer might never visit Google.

AI doesn't show ten blue links like Google. It recommends a few businesses. Kelsey AI tracks which businesses AI recommends across real searches so you can see who appears and who gets ignored.

We aren’t like other AI visibility tools

Kelsey runs real searches in LLMs, finds the top citations and patterns in content, and prepares content changes for you. Then Kelsey monitors if the prompts are improving how often you get mentioned.

Frequently asked questions

If you have more questions, visit the FAQs page or get in touch.

What is Kelsey?

Kelsey is AI search tools for marketing teams. It shows whether your brand is being recommended in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, tracks a fixed prompt library over time, and turns recommendation gaps into clear actions and next steps—so when someone asks who to use or what to buy, you know if you appear, which competitors win instead, and what to create or improve next.

Why does this matter?

More people are using AI to decide which products and services to choose. They are not comparing dozens of options. They are picking from a short list of recommendations. If you are not in that list, you are not being considered.

How does Kelsey work?

Kelsey runs the high-intent searches your buyers ask in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, the same questions people ask when they are ready to choose. It tracks which brands get recommended, how often you appear, and which competitors show up instead, all in one simple dashboard so you always know where you stand.

What makes Kelsey different from SEO tools?

SEO tools track rankings on Google. Kelsey tracks recommendations inside AI answers. AI does not show pages. It recommends a small set of options, and Kelsey shows whether you are one of them.

Does Kelsey tell me what to do next?

Yes. Kelsey helps you identify where you are losing, which competitors are winning, and where opportunities exist. You can use this to guide content, positioning, and distribution.
